I kept tentatively stepping my feet into the scene, mainly meeting people online, hoping I’d find the kind of connection I was looking for. I had all these fantasies, all these desires swirling inside me, but every time I met someone to explore, something felt… out of reach. The people I was meeting felt rushed. Too focused on what we were doing rather than how we were doing it. There was this script we were meant to follow—one person takes charge, the other follows—but something about it felt disconnected and empty. I often felt like I was being used for someone else’s fantasy rather than stepping into a game together. I wanted more than just “scenes.” I wanted to feel the energy shifting between us, the slow build, the thick, humming anticipation, the kind of power that doesn’t come from force—but from presence. That’s why I created A Touch of Power—a one-day workshop exploring the meeting point of kink, tantra, and intimacy. A taste of the deeper work I offer in my Conscious Kink retreats.
